xt-align: justify;">ISLAMABAD, Nov 18 (APP): Pakistan’s ICT export remittances have witnessed a remarkable growth of 34.9%, reaching US$ 1.206 billion during the first four months of FY 2024-25 (July to October) said Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja.
xt-align: justify;">In a statement, she said ICT exports were US$ 894 million in the same period last year (FY 2023-24).
xt-align: justify;">Shaza Fatima said in October 2024, the remittances from ICT services export amounted to US$ 330 million, a 38.6% increase over US$ 238 million in October 2023.
xt-align: justify;">The Minister of State for IT said on the directives of the Prime Minister of Pakistan steps were being taken to increase IT exports.
xt-align: justify;">She said the Ministry of IT, the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and the IT industry were committed to increasing the country’s IT exports.
